Board Certified Physician, Dr. Pat Basu, is the Chief Medical Officer of Doctor on Demand. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Medical Officer, and Director on the Board at vRad – the largest technology enabled national radiology practice. Dr. Basu also served on the State Board of Health in Illinois. Dr. Basu has helped shape economic and health care agendas during his time as a White House Fellow, and has also held faculty and research appointments at Stanford University that centered on health care cost, access and quality. Throughout his career he has consulted for Fortune 500 companies, venture capital firms, and major medical centers on growth strategy, cost containment, revenue enhancement, and operational optimization. Dr. Basu holds a Medical Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration from University of Chicago. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois.
