Brian A. Bloom is a partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP where he concentrates his practice on all facets of intellectual property and licensing matters. The scope of his practice is diversified, and includes counseling emerging brands and Fortune 500 companies, telecommunication companies, pharmaceutical companies, major record companies' merchandising affiliates, recording artists, photographers, artists, and authors with respect to a diverse range of intellectual property matters. Brian also represents large and small merchandising companies with respect to entertainment related litigation and complex corporate transactions involving intellectual property issues. His practice includes the representation of a variety of clients in civil litigation involving claims to copyright and trademark infringement, counterfeiting, trade dress, false advertising, unfair competition, right of publicity, privacy and defamation. Brian has pursued cybersquatters in federal court, ICANN arbitration proceedings, and in complex WIPO actions. In addition, Brian counsels clients in regard to risk assessment issues of trademark and copyright use and licensing, on-line business operation, branding, marketing partnerships and sponsorship agreements. He earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, magna cum laude and his B.S. from Cornell University, with distinction.
