Andrew Kessler is the founder and CEO of Togather.com, an events and crowdfunding platform that connects authors and readers through great experiences. Kessler created Togather out of a need he uncovered while promoting his book, Martian Summer: Robot Arms, Cowboy Spacemen and My 90 Days with the Phoenix Mars Mission. In summer 2008, Andrew spent three months living and working in mission control with NASA’s Phoenix Mars mission, becoming the first outsider ever granted unfettered access to such an event. The marketing successes and failures that came out of this adventure made Kessler yearn for a tool that helped predict demand for events.
