Discover Your City Through the Movies Shot in It

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

As more cities start to realise the benefits of using technology to improve their neighborhoods, Cinemacity, co-produced by the franco german broadcaster Arte and the parisian native transmedia studio Small Bang, provides a public service facilitating access to the cinematographic and urban heritage of Paris.
Cinemacity is a free mobile app that allows one to access and view a scene from a movie when on the exact spot where it was shot.
Cinemacity allows Parisians and tourists to discover or rediscover Paris through the movies shot around the city. The reverse is also true: Cinemacity allows users to rediscover cinema through their walks around Paris.
Cinemacity is also a creative workshop: the Cinelab. It aims to produce fiction walks. A fiction walk is a micro series that tells an immersive story within a Paris neighborhood, across five 3-minute long episodes. It is directed by new selected filmmakers.
