With the explosion of wearable devices, the quantified self is not just for data junkies anymore. Connected fitness starts with tracking activity and collecting data. It raises our awareness and helps us get off the couch. But how can we use this information to truly change behavior? The addition of personal goals and social challenges has added an inspirational element to the mix, and the next generation of connected health is moving from simple data analysis to personalized prescriptive actions. This session will explore the most effective ways to educate users on what their personal data means, methods for turning that data into actionable insights, and how technology is hacking human motivation.
