Career Advice for Creatives from The Walking Dead

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Being a creative and working day in, day out at an agency can be a lot like being on the run from hordes of ravenous flesh-eating zombies. Do you have what it takes to survive either?
Drawing on the rich tapestry of survival horror in comics, television, and film; specifically in “The Walking Dead,” this discussion will examine common themes, situations, and archetypes in the zombie genre, deconstructing them into the skills and traits needed to survive and thrive at an agency career for years to come. Creatives and their managers alike will walk away with strategies for escaping the bad clients and bad work choices that are mindlessly pursuing you.
So, join us as we explore the subtle and not-so-subtle relationships between clients, creatives, zombies, and shotguns; give career advice and swap war stories from the front lines of the apocalypse. Because you never know: if you get complacent, if you drop your guard, they may very well overtake you and make you one of them.
