Redesign Your Life

As designers, we use UX and information architecture to take messy systems and turn them into organized, pleasant experiences.
I don't know about you, but my house (and life in general) could certainly use a bit of that.
It turns out that the user-centered design approach that we apply toward designing usable products is also a great approach to designing your living and working environments--and your time--to be the way you want them to be.
We have found that the process of designing products is extremely similar to the process a professional organizer goes through when organizing a home. We have teamed up with Michelle Nivert, a professional organizer and Upright Citizens Brigade comedian, to explore how to design the lives we want and how to inspire our design work with the logic of organizing a physical space.
