We spend a lot of time working: sitting for hours slumped over our keyboards, precariously squeezing the phone receiver between our shoulder and ear, squinting at our screens, drinking way too much caffeine. We work late, skip our workouts, trudge home to order greasy takeout and sleep poorly because we’re stressed. Does this sound familiar?
In today’s on-the-go, always plugged-in world, we never stop working and it’s taking a toll on our health, our productivity, our energy, and our focus. This session will help audience members identify unhealthy habits preventing people from fully engaging in their work and outside lives, including sedentary lifestyles, unhealthy diets, high stress levels and lack of sleep – to name a few. It will offer actionable tips on how individuals and employers together can create healthier work environments while improving their total quality of life to become their best selves both on the job and beyond the corporate walls.
