Meet the Insiders: Funding and Special Organizations

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Come hear grantmakers and gatekeepers from the nonprofit film world dish about what NOT to do in your proposals to grants, fiscal sponsors, film labs, and other programs. Part Boot Camp, part Miss Manners, we'll tell you how to communicate with us, what to avoid, and most importantly, how to get your work to the next level. We'll skip the policies and procedures and go straight to the nuances of getting your work noticed.
We'll also reveal some of the misconceptions of fundraising, crowdfunding, and managing your film project. The road ahead isn't easy, but with a basic framework for what works and what doesn't, you'll be prepared.
Each panelist will discuss the things that drive them nuts as well as the things that keep them coming to work every day. They'll also answer your questions with a sworn duty to absolute truth. Get ready for brutal honesty and learn how to climb that ivory tower.
