Prospect Director: Zeek Earl, Christopher Caldwell, Christopher Caldwell "Prospect" is the unusual coming-of-age story of a teenage girl on a toxic alien planet. She and her father hunt for precious materials, aiming to strike it rich. When the father is attacked by a roving bandit, the daughter must take control. Refuge Director: Mohammad Gorjestani Set in 2020. Sonia, a young Iranian journalism student and activist, has recently fled to the US to escape persecution and find a better life. But when an escalating cyber-conflict between the US and Iran puts her at risk of deportation, her only way of staying in the country may come at a greater price than she’s willing to pay. Gypsy Director: David Bonneville Sebastian is a wealthy young man. He finds out he has a flat tyre and ends up accepting help from a Gypsy passer-by. In return Sebastian will have to give him a ride home... but they won’t reach their expected destination. Blood Pulls A Gun Director: Ben Briand Nothing exciting ever happens to Alice. Living in her father's isolated roadside motel, she passes her time reading glossy magazines and stealing from the occasional guest. But things are about to change. When an enigmatic stranger named Blood checks in, Alice enters a dark and mysterious world that will change her life forever. Sleepover LA Director: Lily Baldwin When an innocent tourist travels to LA to put her sister's ashes to rest, time begins to blur and the past and present collide. A series of unexpected events take place overnight at The Standard hotel, Taylor relives her sister Jessica's last night alive, opening her eyes to an entire world she never knew existed. Comprised of a bold score by composer Mark degli Antoni, stylized dance and an eccentric cast, "Sleepover LA" weaves a dark and luminous film that revamps traditional narrative. This is the first collaboration between director Lily Baldwin and producer Nicole Disson, both co-stars in the film. "Sleepover LA" poses this question: How much can change in one night? Jonathan's Chest Director: Christopher Radcliff Everything changes for Alex, a troubled teenage boy, when he is visited one night by someone claiming to be his brother - who disappeared years earlier.
