Native Austin songwriter, Carson McHone, began playing around town as a solo acoustic act while still in high school. After a short stint studying English at a small liberal arts college out of state, and deciding music should be her full time gig, McHone returned to Austin and put together a band. Performing under her name, the four piece band, which includes upright bass and fiddle, plays regularly at Austin venues such as The White Horse, Saxon Pub, The Hole in the Wall and The Rattle Inn. In January of 2013 McHone released her self-titled debut EP and plans to record a full length record to released in the summer of 2014.
